As soon as people leave their homes early in the morning to go to work, school or the shops, their homes are already a hive of activity - because that's when their animal housemates have the night off. However, Max the dog (voiced by Jan Josef Liefers) and his pals don't just have fun, they also have new worries when a human offspring has to be looked after in the turmoil of the big city and during a family vacation in the country. And as if that wasn't enough, the spitz lady Gidget (Jella Haase) also loses Squeaky Bee, Max's beloved toy, to a horde of neurotic cats! While she embarks on a dangerous undercover rescue mission, rabbit Snowball (Fahri Yardım) also wants to stand up for good. As superhero Captain Snowball, he and Shih-Tzu Daisy (Senna Gammour) have set themselves the goal of freeing a white tiger from the clutches of a nasty circus owner.
