In the organizer's words:
The Querbeat choir's name says it all: whether current chart hits by Adele, Lady Gaga or The Weeknd, rock songs by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beatles and Queen, Swedish folk tunes, Brazilian samba pieces or Kölsche Tön by the Bläckfööss - we sing in six voices and with a lot of passion under the enthusiastic direction of Mariano Galussio, everything that brings joy and grooves.
Querbeat not only stands for different styles and a colorful repertoire, but also for over fifty different minds from mid-twenties to mid-sixties. Originally founded as a parents' choir, the adult choir of the Rheinische Musikschule has been in existence for over twenty years.
Look forward to an unforgettable concert evening with us and let us take you on a musical journey through various genres with songs such as "Blinding lights", "Mas que nada" or "Vem kan segla". In the end, we'll end up back "where we grew up together", according to AnnenMayKantereit, because "all roads lead to Rome and eventually back to Cologne."
