Sound of Nashville präsentiert Alexandra Kay, Hannah Ellis & Lakeview

After ALEXANDRA KAY, HANNAH ELLIS and LAKEVIEW will perform on the Spotlight Stage at C2C 2024, Europe's biggest country festival, the three newcomers will then go on a small tour of Germany. If you can't be there in Berlin or want to see more of Nashville's new talent, these two shows will give you the chance.

Hailing from Waterloo, Illinois, ALEXANDRA KAY began writing songs at the age of 15 as a way to cope with being a teenager, first love and self-discovery. While she initially performed in several theater productions, she decided to participate in the show American Idol in 2011. 06.03.2024 - Backstage Club - 19:00 In 2012, she was initially active in hip-hop and R&B. With the support of rapper Nelly, Kay first established herself in the St. Louis music scene. In 2013, she finally signed a record deal with Nettwork Entertainment. She landed a radio hit with her first single "No More", which stayed at number 1 on the 'New Music Weekly Top 40 Pop Charts' for three weeks. It wasn't until the age of 22 that Alexandra Kay launched her country career by recording cover videos of numerous 90s country hits, posting them on Facebook and eventually going viral. Since taking social media by storm, Alexandra Kay has collaborated with artists such as Randy Travis, Tim McGraw and Scott Stapp of Creed. In 2022, she made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry and joined Tim McGraw, Russell Dickerson and Brandon Davis on the "McGraw Tour 2022". This year, she performed at C2C in London for the first time and toured Canada and the United States with her "Backroad Therapy Tour 2". She followed up this success with the "Dive Bar Dreamer Tour", released her debut album "All I've Ever Known" in October and also announced another major US headline tour.

The world of Kentucky-born Curb Records artist HANNAH ELLIS is one in which everyone can feel at home. Her voice gets under your skin and makes you feel good. She is known for her clever wordplay, but also vulnerable lyrics. Named to Country's "Artist To Watch" list by Rolling Stone, she moved to Nashville to pursue her music career after graduating from the University of Kentucky in 2012. The singer/songwriter has already recorded more than 42 million streams in her young career. She has already "texted" for various artists and HANNAH's voice can be heard not only in her own songs, but also on: Russell Dickerson, Carly Pearce, FOR KING + COUNTRY, Emily Weisband, Cassadee Pope, FILMORE and Sidewalk Prophets. The extraordinary artist has performed several times at the Grand Ole Opry and has toured with Carly Pearce, Billy Currington, Gavin DeGraw, Dwight Yoakam, Devin Dawson, among others. She was also part of the CMT "Next Women of Country" tour. Her single "Wine Country" and the recently released "Karma on the Rocks" are the latest releases. Both are part of the EP "Too Much And Not Enough". Hannah Ellis' debut album "That Girl" will be released on January 12, 2024.

LAKEVIEW's story resembles the narrative of a country song - two guys meet and form a band. They realize that the same girl has broken their hearts and make the spontaneous decision to get in the car and drive to Nashville. Hailing from Nashville and Pittsburgh, the duo of Jesse Denaro and Luke Healy combine country, soul, rock and pop elements to create a unique style that is old school storytelling with a carpe diem attitude and modern production. Their entry into the genre is via the "Work Hard, Play Harder" anthem "Poor Me" and "Eyes Closed". LAKEVIEW carry the DNA of country music in their veins and are unadulterated in their innovative sound. They have caught the attention of critics, with Country Now calling them the "next big act in country music". They were also included in The Boot's "New Songs You Need to Hear" list. All this is just the beginning!

This combination of three country acts doesn't come along very often. With their different styles, you can look forward to a varied evening that leaves nothing to be desired in terms of singer/songwriter quality.
