Lyrics, bass & punchlines in the open air. The legendary Spree vom Weizen celebrates a very special mix of spoken word, stand-up comedy and techno lyrics. Under twinkling fairy lights in the courtyard of a Kreuzberg techno club, Julian Heun presents a wild literary show with beloved regulars, hyped-up guests and a dangerous after-show party in the half-open hut.
Our guest is the humorous piano boy David Weber, who strums laconic super hits into the super heat of the night on his electric piano. Then there's comedian Anna Bartling from Hamburg, who has set a milestone with the Stand Up Committee in Hamburg and is sure to set the Instareels alight with her wicked sense of humor.
The snow king Wolf Hogekamp will end each round with his future lyrics set to brute techno beats - iconic and endearingly off-key. And of course our cuter DJ Ernesto Linares is also there to add a splash of festival feeling to this literary full-body experience.
4 out of 5 doctors recommend this literary show, which ends with an after-spree party in the Garden of the Night that keeps up the bass and tempo well into the night. You can stay for free if you dare. Oh, you green nine.
