Start75 Album-Release-Konzert mit Bitume, Wick Bambix und Tobey Trueblood

Start75 is the solo project of Thorsten, known from bands like "Blenden" and "derdickePolizist". Tonight, Start75 will be presenting their album live for the first time in their home town. They will be joined by Bitume from Oldenburg, Wick Bambix from Nijmegen and Tobey Trueblood from Cologne.
It will be a varied evening with a cross-genre mix of singer-songwriters with acoustic sounds, pure punk rock and, last but not least, energetic guitar rock with synthesizer sounds. Afterwards, there will be an after-show party with canned music from across the history of music.

Passion expresses an activity to which one devotes oneself with complete dedication. There are always setbacks in the creative process. Things never go perfectly. And that was also the case for songwriter and musician Thorsten Voigt from Cologne.
Active as a guitarist and bassist in various bands since 1997, he decided to do his own thing even before the pandemic and record his musical ideas, thoughts, life situations, views and feelings in countless home recording sessions.
A year ago, he gathered a colorful bunch of renowned musicians around him to refine HIS songs with producer Kurt Ebelhäuser at Tonstudio 45 .
The MUST of writing songs that please EVERYONE was broken. Independence was the credo of the recordings at every second. Each of the musicians played with heart, passion and spontaneity. The result is an album that doesn't get lost in the masses of German indie-rock-punk singer/songwriter bands, but stands out for its originality, which is what makes it so interesting.
The result is START75. 12 German-language songs that don't fit into any pigeonhole, but sound like Thorsten Voigt always wanted them to: Authentic and free of any clichés and zeitgeist.
Bitume:
Bitume from Oldenburg have been a fixture in the punk rock scene for many years. They have now released their ninth studio album on Rookie Records.
Wick Bambix:
Wick Bambix front woman and the center of her band Bambix from the Netherlands, who toured worldwide for many years bringing their melodic punk rock to the people. Wick now plays solo with her good friend Sjappi on acoustic guitars. There will be some Bambix songs and of course their own!
Tobey Trueblood:
Tobey Trueblood play honest, acoustic singer-songwriter sound with German lyrics. Tobias performs in a small line-up with bass and drums.
