Steckerfestival meets KiZe

In the organizer's words:

And yet they are doing it again! No plugs have been pulled for two years, but now it's back on. On 11.07.26, the Steckerfestival will once again be all about colorful people partying to a colorful mix of music. With the headliners Fliegende Haie you can clap clowns to fat beats and even fatter lines. At Hörstreich, classic punk fans will get their money's worth just as much as alternative music lovers. Rina Butterfly and Irida add their gentle solo performances with a beautiful message, while the KiZe Band makes the whole thing a must-see event for KiZe. Let's unplug, let's clowns clap and let's party!!!

Loud! Danceable! Punk guitar music! Energy, loud guitars, melody and the urge to dance! Everything on full blast - the alarm is on! While the sweat is still dripping from the ceiling, Hörstreich not only set hearts on fire but also ignite fireworks for a movement and an era that was often thought to be long dead. It's all the better to see how fresh and energetic punk can sound in modern times. The now eighth studio album "Legs without Brains" was produced by Beatsteaks mixer Tom Körbler, who succeeded particularly well in capturing the band's live energy and bringing the guys' overwhelming joy of playing to record. ... RINA BUTTERFLY

The Allgäu musician combines reggae, folk and spiritual singer-songwriter music to create something completely unique - accompanied by ukulele and loop pedal. Her lyrics tell of unity, gratitude and personal freedom - music from the soul, for the soul.

Irida enjoys the privilege of obscurity and keeps changing his stage name. Identity is fluid. Maybe you've seen him play under a different name before. But probably not. He is really very unknown. He makes something quiet between indie and folk pop.

KIZE BAND

Handover this morning, in between development reports, psychological group offers and tomorrow probably jumping in somewhere spontaneously again. And yet with and for you at the Steckerfestival V.

Because somewhere between help plans, coffee number 37 and the question "Who else is going to do this?", a musical self-help group was formed by employees of the Frère Roger Children's Center, who decided to invest their remaining energy in rock music rather than healthy sleep rhythms.

No songs of their own.

No great artistic figure.

Just covers of songs that they simply fancy. A bit of Green Day, Foo fighters, Sum41, Jimmy Eat World etc., everything the playlists on MiniDisc and MP3 players at the time had to offer.

So don't expect perfection.

Expect heart.

Expect sweaty garage rock with the energy of a band that may have had to de-escalate a crisis shortly before, but still lives out its penchant for distorted guitars and songs that smell of teenage bedrooms, skate parks and broken Chucks in the evening.
