Sternenparks in Deutschland - Dunkle Oasen der Himmelsbeobachtung

Where is it still really dark? Where can I still observe the night sky unimpeded in times of ever-increasing light pollution? Since 2014, four star parks in Germany certified by the IDA (International Dark Sky Association) have been offering star enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy the fundamental experience of a dark, star-studded night sky.
"Major Tom" conveys the qualities of an optimal observation site, explains the requirements for a landscape to be awarded the "Star Park" certification and encourages people to go on an observation trip to the remaining "star oases" in our home country.
