Streetart in Ehrenfeld

With its colorful, lively and creative scene, Ehrenfeld is one of Cologne's most popular districts. Körnerstraße has developed into the shopping street for special things. Cafés, pubs and restaurants of all kinds make Ehrenfeld an attractive address. The spectacular visual highlights also contribute to this - from graffiti in inexhaustible forms to house-high facade paintings that we find here on walls, house walls and railroad embankments.

On our tour through the district, we pass small-scale street art with a big impact, get to know murals by international street artists such as El Pez or Yaikel and explore different techniques - with or without outlines, paste-ups and objects. Ehrenfeld also offers a mecca for discussion about what street art actually is and what message it conveys. As is so often the case, street art is becoming a lifestyle that is also reflected in the district's active music scene.
