With Studio Ghibli In Concert, the magical world of the legendary animated films can be experienced for the first time in an extraordinarily emotional live show in Germany. This special concert - by fans for fans - is a passionate tribute to Joe Hisaishi, the master of the unforgettable melodies from Chihiro's Journey to Magic Land, The Walking Castle and many other anime classics. The European Philharmonia Orchestra will perform under the direction of Walter Proost and with Johan Rycken as concertmaster. After two sold-out tours in France and Belgium in 2024 and 2025, Studio Ghibli In Concert is finally coming to Germany for the first time in October 2026 - with magical visuals and a completely redesigned stage set that atmospherically brings the poetry of the films to life and lets the dream worlds of the Ghibli films shine.
