Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl (Milly Alcock), is disillusioned. Her life seems to lack any meaning or purpose. After witnessing the destruction of her homeworld, she was sent to Earth to protect her infant cousin. But he doesn’t need any protection at all. After all, he is Superman—the most powerful being on the planet. On Earth, however, she is seen only as a reincarnation, a copy, a carbon copy of her famous cousin. But then everything changes.
