Ten years of GOP Bonn—that’s ten years full of wonder, laughter, goosebumps, and unforgettable variety show moments. Since 2016, the curtain has been rising in Bonn on shows that inspire, move, and bring people together. Now it’s time to celebrate: with everything that makes the GOP what it is—glitz, pace, humor, artistry, and a show that truly lives up to its name.
The anniversary show SURPRISE brings to the stage exactly what makes variety theater so special: artistry at the highest level, subtle humor, a genuine joy of performing, surprising twists, and that special energy that can only be created live in the theater.
Chantall and Markus Schimpp, a duo in a class of their own, guide the audience through the show with charm, energy, and perfect timing. They keep the humor in check and, together with exceptional performers, demonstrate just how wonderfully acrobatic skill and comedy can be combined.
Expressive performances brimming with technical brilliance meet poetic humor, dry slapstick, sharp satire, and genuine laugh-out-loud moments. Sometimes wild, sometimes charming, sometimes spectacular!
