King Arthur and the god Thor face their greatest challenge: How far are they able and willing to go in confronting the prejudices according to which they have made up the world, the patriarchy, their sexism and male stereotypes?
SURVIVING MEN is an interactive performance between pop culture and socio-psychological investigation - and about new heroes!
Futur3 and Cie De Facto (Swiss ensemble), interweave their artistic lines - research-based, socio-political investigation and fictional theater - to humorously illuminate the mechanisms and effects of prejudice in SURVIVING MEN. Based on the bestseller "The Nature of Prejudice" by G. W. Allport and playing with the language barriers of the participating ensembles (German and French), the audience is invited to accompany the heroes of the play in their confrontation with stereotypes of masculinity.
