Sven Jungbeck invites Fredi Gebhardt

Fredi Gebhardt was also a guest on Sven Jungbeck's disc "invites". As a talent of the scene he already performed with greats like Wawau Adler, Joscho Stephan and the French/Romanian star violinist Costel Nitescu. As a duo, Jungbeck and Gebhardt were invited to the Midwest Swing Festival in Madison (USA) last year and played their first major U.S. tour in Summer '22. Gebhardt's improvisations combine Django Reinhardt's traditional style with avant-garde influences. On bass will be Volker Kamp, with whom Jungbeck has been playing worldwide in the Joscho Stephan Trio since 2017.
