This workshop creates an intergenerational meeting space in which the body becomes a place of play, exploration and creation. The session begins with a guided session (approx. 60 minutes) exploring movement as a form of drawing in space through contemporary dance, dance theater and improvisation.

Using simple materials - paper, brushes, sticks or everyday objects - participants will explore line, form and the transformation of the body to develop moving images and small compositions. The object acts as a mediator, facilitating access to movement and opening up new possibilities for expression.

This is followed by an informal space for exchange during a break together. The afternoon ends with a short performative finale: a small presentation, an artistic intervention or an open format in which the audience can participate. The focus is on shared experience, creativity and encounters.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Catalina Carrasco is a dancer, choreographer and teacher with an international career. She has been the director of the BAAL company since 2012 and develops artistic projects. Her work has been awarded prizes such as We-Now and CENIT and supported by programs such as Culture Moves Europe and Perform Europe.

ACCESSIBILITY
The workshop is open to everyone and requires no prior knowledge. The exercises are flexibly adapted to different physical abilities and age groups. Participation is possible both actively and observationally. Communication can be verbal or non-verbal.

Barrier-free access. Participation with rollator or wheelchair possible.
Largely barrier-free toilet in the adjacent building. No grab rails and no height-adjustable mirror available.
Free admission for accompanying persons.
