At Migra-Night, we talk about hot topics in a relaxed manner and with a lot of humor and heart. People from politics, culture and civil society with different migration stories take to the stage. They talk honestly and personally about their lives and say clearly what they think. 󰵗

The aim of Migra Night is to break down clichés and build bridges between people with and without a history of migration. Presenter and host Nada Assaad is not afraid to ask awkward questions and ensures that nobody gets bored with drinks and snacks. 😈🍹

Our guests are:
🎙 Berîvan Aymaz
She is running for the office of Lord Mayor of Cologne. Her political focus: Diversity, participation and social justice. Berîvan grew up in Cologne in the 80s and will tell us what Cologne was like back then and what still shapes her today.

🎶 Juri Rother
Singer from Planschemalöör. Born in Cologne-Porz, family roots in Panama. With his band, he stands for a clear stance against racism and exclusion. He talks to us about how being in a band has shaped him and why pop culture is more than just entertainment.

✊ Marie Knäpper
She sits on the board of Arsch Huh, an association that has been shaping Cologne with attitude, art and culture for over 30 years. Marie brings the perspective of cultural work and activism and shows why both are more important today than ever.
