LET'S TALK ABOUT CONSUMPTION!

Daily, hourly, minute-by-minute hyper-consumption characterizes our lives. We buy, rent, lease. We not only consume products of all kinds, but also experiences, distraction, knowledge, help, comfort and affection. We have long since stopped paying the price with other goods or money, but with digital currency and our personal data. And the true price of this all-encompassing consumption is not on the price tags in stores and online stores or in our bank statements, but in the reports on climate catastrophe, dwindling natural resources and a lack of biodiversity and growing inequality around the world.

Consumption leaves none of us cold. For some, it is the driver of our prosperity; for others, it is the fundamental evil of our society. So how do we want to deal with our consumption in the future? What do we really need? Is there "good" and "bad" consumption? How can we keep these things in circulation, repair them, reuse them?

We want to discuss questions like these and many more on our stage and at the festival together with speakers and visitors from all generations.
