Thailand presents us with the agony of choice: stay a while or move on straight away? Blessed are those who treat themselves to both. Because the kingdom impresses with a diversity that is second to none. There is the megacity of Bangkok, where tradition and modernity collide between proud palaces, bustling alleyways and floating food stalls. The southern island kingdom with its dream beaches and steep limestone cliffs in the turquoise blue sea. Picturesque temples and pagodas in the interior. There are also countless superlatives waiting to be discovered away from the usual tourist destinations.

Who would know this better than National Geographic photographers Aneta and Dirk Bleyer? They have been traveling the region together for over 20 years. Along the way, the two got to know the country and its people, and diligently pulled out their cameras. In the new multivision show, brilliant photo and film sequences, shot on land, at sea and from the air, accompanied by Bleyer's live commentary, take you to a magical country.
