Marin Alsop was the first woman to lead the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra, and the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra. Her career debunks the stereotype that “girls can’t do that.” The documentary takes the audience into the heart of classical music:
