It’s been about 20 years since Andrea “Andy” Sachs (Anne Hathaway) and Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt) suffered under the devilish ways of fashion magazine editor-in-chief Miranda Priestley (Meryl Streep) while working as her assistants. In the meantime, however, the two women have forged their own career paths—Emily, in fact, has become extremely successful as the manager of a luxury brand, whose advertising campaigns cost an unimaginable amount of money. But Miranda Priestley can only dream of such a budget these days.
