Theaterinstallation Cambio de Turno / Schichtwechsel (Agencia El Solar)

In the organizer's words:

The Spanish-Mexican theater company El Solar is a detective agency for objects, a mobile investigation office that conducts site-specific, ethnographic research. It tries to make visible the memories and circumstances of life that have accumulated in objects. With a bit of luck, these relationships connected to the objects lead to new insights into a neighborhood, a city and the attitude to life of its inhabitants. Their story(ies) and the objects that represent them become part of their theater installation "Cambio del Turno / Schichtwechsel".

The theater installation will be developed during the project period together with residents of the district around the Grossmarkthalle and the slaughterhouse and contemporary witnesses and will be shown and performed from July 2 to 5, 2026.
