SOFT VIOLET
Alternative, pop, synth-pop | Armenia/Belgium
SOFT VIOLET is the solo project of the Armenian-Belgian artist and multi-instrumentalist Veronica Burnuthian. Using drum machines, synthesizers and effects, SOFT VIOLET creates cinematic soundscapes that combine electronic IDM and glitchcore beats, characterized by distorted textures, dynamic rhythms and melodic patterns.
From ambient dream worlds to pulsating beats, the sound is both hypnotic and stimulating. The lyrics are whispered, sung and spoken - powerfully yet softly - in Armenian, French, English and German. Performed from a first-person perspective, they reflect raw emotions and delve into themes such as Armenian heritage, queer identity, female sexual freedom and intergenerational grief.
An introspective rêverie for all souls in search of warmth and ecstasy. (Source: artist)

ELEKTROKOHLE
Postpunk, Noise, Krautrock | Berlin
ELEKTROKOHLE is a Berlin-based trio that combines postpunk, noise, krautrock and dark surf into a raw and hypnotic sound that they themselves call "cold punk". Born out of the isolation and fears of the pandemic, the project quickly developed into a permanent three-piece and unfolded its full power, especially on stage. Their chaotic and energetic live performances captured the spirit of the Berlin underground and led to concerts with Lydia Lunch, "She Wants Revenge", "New Model Army" and a Scandinavian tour with Cosey Müller.
In November 2024, the band was shaken by tragedy when bassist Suzan Flag died unexpectedly on the exact day of the release of their debut album "Kalt Wie Du Bist" (Oráculo Records). The album, on which she can be heard on all ten tracks, stands both as a powerful debut and a lasting tribute to her influence. (Source: Bandinfo)

DAS KINN
Alternative, Electro, Wave | Germany
With its first full-length album "Ruinenkampf" on the Hamburg quality label Bureau B, DAS KINN embarks on a musical tour de force through the ruins of our time.
Using kickboxing phonetics and an electronic armada, it leads us through haunting soundscapes somewhere between DAF, the Kosmische Kurieren and Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel. Beats on full blast. Bones rattle. The organ plays. Warm synthlines played by cold hands. A saxophone ponders the after. Hymns for the demolition. Music for a solemn demise.
For almost two decades now, sound activist Toben Piel has been sending out knocking signs and signal sounds from the catacombs around the Frankfurt bank towers in various constellations. As part of the music performance duo "Les Trucs", as co-operator of the tape label MMODEMM and with works for theater and radio. (Source: artist)
