Suliman Elnours Abschlussfilm WA LAKIN ALARDH TADUR (1978) schildert den Alltag in einer Schule im Jemen in den 70er Jahren. Das Arsenal – Institut für Film und Videokunst ließ 2018 sieben Werke der Sudanese Film Group (SFG) digital restaurieren.

Am 16. Juni 1960 richtete die portugiesische Armee in Mueda, Mosambik, auf Befehl des portugiesischen Gouverneurs 600 Menschen aus der Bevölkerung hin. Seit der Unabhängigkeit ihres Landes erleben die Einwohner von Mueda dieses Ereignis jedes Jahr erneut, indem sie in einem Theaterstück die Rollen von Tätern, Opfern und Zuschauern spielen. MUEDA MEMORIA E MASSACRE begründet historisch die filmische Erinnerung an den Prozess der Entkolonialisierung und die Trauerarbeit des mosambikanischen Volkes.

Suliman Elnour’s graduation film WA LAKIN ALARDH TADUR (1978) depicts everyday life in a school in Yemen in the 70s.

On 16 June 1960, the Portuguese army executed 600 people from the population in Mueda, Mozambique, on the orders of the Portuguese governor. Since their country's independence, the inhabitants of Mueda relive this event every year by playing the roles of perpetrators, victims and spectators in a play. MUEDA MEMORIA E MASSACRE historically establishes the cinematic memory of the process of decolonisation and the mourning of the Mozambican people.
