Torture the Artist brings its monthly musical offshoot "absolutely on music" to Hamburg's Hafenklang. The music lovers at Torture the Artist have invited Milan-based producer and DJ Glo My, who is originally from Mexico City. Glo My recently released her track "House por siempre" (House Music forever), a homage to the deep sounds of the genre, on the Frankfurt label Houseworx, which is run by Robert Drewek and Matthias Schildger. Last year, Glo My released an extremely deep and nuanced track on Lis Sarrocas Maai Records, which provided fine feelings on the dancefloor with its pointed sounds. Whatever Glo My currently has up its sleeve musically, it will end up on the turntables or CDJs this evening. The second guest of the evening is the American but currently Berlin-based artist Natebytheway, who has been a hit on the scene since his release on Kulture Galerie. His next release is already set to appear on Gene On Earth's label Nug-Net. Musically, Nate moves somewhere between Hi-NRG influences and shallow deep house sounds, always danceable, always stylish, always classy. The line-up is completed by Holger Breuer, founder of Torture the Artist and passionate music enthusiast with a preference for house and minimal with a deep twist, and Lukas Urbaum, who stands for funky house sounds with deep accents.
