In July, the focus is on traditional origami motifs and their significance in Japanese culture.

You can choose from classic figures such as cranes, frogs, butterflies, samurai helmets, and other traditional models. In addition to various folding techniques, you’ll also discover the stories and symbolism associated with each motif.

Simple models are available for beginners, while advanced participants can try their hand at more challenging variations.

The course is designed to be open and flexible: In addition to the monthly theme, participants are welcome to bring their own projects, instructions, or origami books. Anyone with questions or needing help with a model can get support at any time—regardless of what they’re currently working on.
