In the organizer's words:
TRAM DES BALKANS have already thrilled audiences several times with their great world music at the Alte Mälzerei. Even after 25 years and more than 1000 concerts, the five virtuoso musicians and singers from Lyon continue to follow their unique path. They combine the music of different cultures with clarinet, accordion, violin, double bass and percussion. The focus is still on Central and Eastern Europe, but also Nordic folk and polyrhythms from the island of Réunion. The languages of the world intermingle.
