Hardcore/doom veterans EYEHATEGOD, founded in New Orleans in 1988, are one of the few bands to have largely defined a genre on their own with "sludge". Their tough and uncompromising sound of distorted, blues-soaked guitars is regarded globally as the central inspiration for an entire scene. Formed in the early 80s, DWARVES are one of punk rock's most curious phenomena. Between genius and madness, brilliant and trashy, their garage-HC-bubblegum-pop-punk has become an integral part of the global punk scene.
