The 250th performance, followed by an afterparty
A choreographed performance for everyone ages 11 and up
How many plastic cups do we use over the course of a lifetime? Two performers trace the history of our strange evolution and delve into the complexities of “ecological intelligence.” Along the way, they encounter a never-ending stream of new questions and an ever-growing mountain of trash. With the help of animated drawings, dance, and sound collages, Trashedy takes an unflinching, humorous look at our freedom of choice and our own consumer behavior. Because everything we do has an impact. Somewhere.

On Saturday, September 12, there will also be a p:gJAM from 3:00–6:00 p.m. before the performance. At our p:gJAMs (laboratory-style movement workshops), we’d like to get to know you, our audience, better and give you insights into how we work. The focus is above all on connection and exchange: Together, we’ll explore themes from the production “Trashedy,” experiment, and move together.
