UN AMOR ODER DIE ERFINDUNG MEINER MUTTER - PLAN MEE (NÜRNBERG)

It all begins on a Friday. The mother goes flamenco dancing. She takes her daughter with her. The daughter watches her mother, marvels, admires, sees a strong, independent woman.
Eva Borrmann sets out in search of things and events that were formative for her. Urs Humpenöder rewrites her story. A cassette tape heard over and over again, the half-empty packets of Marlboro Red, the hastily hidden McDonald's bag - in a nostalgic look back, everything can be magically charged. And yet everything was completely different. A declaration of love to one's own biography, a question about an image of women that is looking for its position.
The text of this solo performance oscillates between longing for the past, analytical observations of catastrophic family events and fictional exaggeration. In her dance, Eva Borrmann places herself in relation to nostalgic, kitschy and touching memories, which are also physically inscribed in her body. In her choreography, she shows how the outgrown body does not escape its own past, but emancipates itself and confronts the absurd.
