In the organizer's words:

Everyone talks about democracy ... but what does that actually mean?

Democracy is not only made in parliaments and by governments, but by all of us! Socially, we are facing numerous changes that are particularly challenging for us in democratic negotiations. Anti-democratic positions are gaining support. We are all called upon here!

What concerns you with regard to our democracy? Where can we do something concrete? How can we strengthen commitment and shape society together?

We invite you to think about our democratic coexistence and take joint action.

You can expect

- a large interactive "hands-on construction site"

- playful discussion spaces

- Political initiatives from Cologne that will present themselves and their concerns and invite you to exchange ideas

- At 4 p.m. the live podcast "Kleine Pause. Nicole Schweiß in conversation with Alice Hasters (registration required)

- Guided tour through the exhibition "WE ... TOGEHTHER - acting. democratically. together" and the game "Remote Island"

In between, you can treat yourself to a break with food and drink.
