Live-action remake of the Disney classic of the same name about Vaiana, the teenage daughter of a chief, who is frustrated that her people are forbidden from sailing their boats beyond the reef into the open ocean. But when her people are in danger of running out of food, she decides to secretly leave the South Pacific island and embarks on an adventure.
