Vanessa Jung: Full Steel. Release-Konzert

Even as a baby in her stroller, Vanessa Jung regularly accompanied her father on visits to the local vintage record shop and would sit in her parents’ living room, playing in front of shelves full of records. This fostered an early connection to music that continues to shape her to this day. Vanessa Jung earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electric guitar at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg—the first and, to date, only woman to major in this field since the university’s founding. In addition to her artistic work, she is active as a guitar teacher, band coach, and content creator.

Now, on September 4, 2026, she is releasing her first solo album, *Full Steel*, naturally available on vinyl and CD as well. It is an instrumental rock album in which the guitar takes on the role of a narrative voice, weaving influences from her musical life into something uniquely her own. Musically, the album straddles the line between classic rock and modern instrumental music. Influences from artists like Slash, Gary Moore, and Metallica are audible, but rather than being directly referenced, they are translated into her own musical language.
