Vernissage: Maks Dannecker - Candy Candy

Maks Dannecker's development has taken her from abstract photography to concrete art. With a wealth of ideas and discipline, she has developed a distinctive artistic position.

As a certified photographer (Johannes-Gutenberg-Schule Stuttgart), her affinity for technology has led her to distance herself from classical photography over the years to such an extent that she no longer uses image content in the original sense for her geometric-constructive works, but methodically employs analysis and editing processes to create images.

Detached from the obligation of iconography, Dannecker arrives at aesthetically sophisticated, conceptual works that add a very independent accent to Minimal Art.

Maks Dannecker, born in 1976, lives in Berlin and works internationally. According to Artfacts, she is one of the top 2000 contemporary artists worldwide.

Vernissage: Friday, October 20, 2023, 4-8 p.m.
The artist will be present.

The exhibition will be on view through November 24, 2023.
