For VideÖclub #3, we are switching to agit-prop mode. And after the revolution is before the revolution. Because it should always be World Women's Day, this time we have a queer-feminist declaration of war on a state that is still far too unjust.
The film is a low-budget US production from the 1980s and also features musical interludes by queer-feminist punk bands. It can therefore also be seen as a testimony to a very specific subculture.
Before the screening, there will be a short introduction to the film, followed by incendiary music by DJ Benno Ohne Sorge.
What is the VideÖclub? The open VideÖclub invites you to the Köşk for the third time. The VideÖclub is not a cinema, but an experiment to bring together a more or less loose community of film enthusiasts at Köşk, who discuss the screening they have just seen over a drink and also provide input for follow-up VideÖclubs. The evening is curated, but there is always interest in suggestions. The VideÖclub is non-commercial, Free admission and drinks are available at cost price. Donations to cover expenses are of course very welcome!
