From building the canvas to priming, mixing colors from pigments to the finished painting: This workshop is not just about painting, but also about craftsmanship. Step by step, you will build your painting support and prepare the painting ground. Inspired by the paintings of the Impressionists, you will then design and create your own painting - using acrylic paints and paints made from pigments. The workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced students who want to explore an artistic method in depth. The participation fee includes material costs of 40 euros.

Leader: Christiane van Beek
After completing her degree in social education, Christiane van Beek studied painting and graphics at the IBKK in Bochum from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, she founded a painting school for young people and adults in Münster and Berlin. She has been a member of the Bundesverband Bildender Künstler NRW and Berlin since 2007. In addition to her exhibition activities as a freelance artist, she works as an art mediator for various institutions.
