Vino & Vinyl – Wine, Music, and Favorite Records at Haus Schmitz

StartingAugust 26, the motto in Rodenkirchen is: Put on a record, pour some wine, and immerse yourselves together in the music of the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s . At “Vino & Vinyl,” handpicked vinyl treasures meet fine wines, fascinating stories, and plenty of opportunities to browse, swap, and talk shop. Detlef Lauenstein will provide the music, DJ set, and hosting. He’ll take guests on a journey through three defining decades of pop and rock history—with background information, anecdotes, and personal insights into songs and artists.

And now it’s your turn: Feel free to bring your own favorite records! At our record swap, you can trade or sell vinyl, browse for new treasures—or have your favorite record played right there on the spot. This makes every evening a little different, and the music also comes to life through the guests’ memories and stories.

We’ll also have fine wines, small, complementary snacks, and plenty of space for relaxed conversation. “Vino & Vinyl” isn’t a traditional concert evening, but rather a blend of a music night, wine tasting, record swap, and a shared immersion in vinyl culture.

Important note about the venue: Due to water damage at our venue on Barbarastraße, “Vino & Vinyl” will take place on August 26 at Haus Schmitz in Rodenkirchen.
