The increasing number of incidents - on sports fields, in restaurants and on streetcars - shows how widespread anti-Semitism is in our society. But what role do traditional educational media play in spreading anti-Jewish stereotypes, images and ideas?

The speakers at the event will take a critical look at the portrayal of Jewish life in current school textbooks: Where can false information be found? What is problematic and needs to be revised? What should the content look like so that it does not promote discriminatory ways of thinking? And what should teachers pay particular attention to in the classroom?
