In Was bisher geschah, history journalist Joachim Telgenbüscher and historian Nils Minkmar talk about the dramas, triumphs, events and personalities of history that have shaped our world and continue to do so today. From the political intrigues of the Roman Empire, to the tricks of fanatical cult leaders in the early modern era, to dealing with extremists and the management skills of great conquerors.

In the first live tour, they take you back to Germany in the turbulent 19th century, or to be more precise: to the time of the Vormärz. The era in which railroads and factories gradually conquered people's everyday lives and revolutionary ideas spread, making the powerful tremble and the poor dream.
