*WAS HABEN WIR GELACHT* tells the story of 1990s entertainment television from a woman’s perspective for the first time. Maren Kroymann, Hella von Sinnen, Bettina Böttinger, Gaby Köster, and Esther Schweins look back on their work and an era in which women on television were primarily seen as props, served as punchlines, and female humor was considered a ratings killer.
A sharp, entertaining, and revealing documentary that will be released in theaters across Germany starting July 16.
