The end of the world isn’t just around the corner—we’re already right in the middle of it. The apocalyptic tea party hosted by Zaungäste moves somewhere between the end of the world and Wonderland, bringing together experts who explore apocalyptic narratives from various perspectives. How do we tell the story of the end? What comes after? And what new beginnings lie hidden within the apocalypse? 

Together, they set out in search of (im)possible endings, transitions, and visions of the future. Gloomy predictions are inevitable—but don’t panic; the end of the world doesn’t feel quite that bad: Over tea and final delicacies at a long table, a user’s manual for the end of the world unfolds. Perhaps the end doesn’t always mean ruin, but also transition.
