WesGhost 's world is much more about the music than the artist behind it. For this reason, the artist always performs masked with a balaclava and cultivates a deliberately mythical appearance. He describes his music as ghostcore: a sound that picks up on the pop-punk of the 2000s and adds modern hip-hop and alternative elements, making WesGhost a figure of identification for many despite his anonymity. His songs resonate particularly well with young people who feel frustrated and marginalized and - like WesGhost himself - seek refuge in online communities. Apart from this, little is known about the artist from the Midwest of the USA. What is certain, however, is that he learned to play the guitar and keyboard as a teenager and felt inspired by Coldplay's single "The Scientist" to pursue a career as a musician. This original inspiration has since grown into an international phenomenon that enjoys a huge worldwide following. WesGhost goes on tour at the end of 2026. Under the motto IF IT'S NOT FOREVER, the musician will be comingto Cologne, Berlin and Munich for three shows and will also be performing live in Zurich. WesGhost made his debut in 2023 with the single "SLEEPWALKING", which was followed by further releases such as the fan favorites "CURSED", "TEETH" feat. Diggy Graves, "SPINE" and "DARK" until mid-2024. With his versatile sound between modern hip-hop and pop-punk-infused alternative, a picture of the influences that shape his style and make WesGhost's music difficult to categorize quickly emerged. In 2024, the artist bundled his previous singles together with other songs on his debut album "DON'T WORRY I'LL BE FINE", setting the first major milestone in his career. After collaborations with Layto ("IOU"), Jutes ("ROT") and Kayzo ("Grave"), the release of the track "PAPERCUTS" marked the beginning of a new chapter for WesGhost, which culminated in April 2025 with the EP "AM I DREAMING?". Since then, the artist has followed up with further multi-faceted collaborations and has been featured on songs by Ryan Oakes, Red Leather (together with Sueco), VOILÀ, Mylie Taylor and Diplo. In addition, WesGhost continued towork on new singles that expanded his versatile sound in 2026 to include alternative rock and hip-hop influences ("CHOKEHOLD" feat. Resentvul) as well as singer-songwriter aspects ("GASLIGHT").
