In the future, the currency isn’t money, but time. And this, too, is unevenly distributed: While the poor are allotted no more than 25 years of life, a small group of the super-rich can live what feels like forever. Between these extremes, there is a trade in (life) time, which is often conducted through criminal means. Will Salas was supposed to have only 25 years to live, but the 105-year-old Hamilton, who is tired of life, gives him a great deal of time and reveals the truth to him. Together with Sylvia, the daughter of a millionaire, Will sets out to break this unjust system. A race against time begins.

IN TIME is a fast-paced thriller that guarantees suspense right up to the very last minute. At the same time—even though it’s set in the future—it’s a critique of the inequality of the present. And the theme of “time” is more relevant than ever.
