History doesn't just happen, it is made by us.
Meetings with contemporary witnesses, readings, tours, discussions, lectures, concerts, films - during the Week of Remembrance Hamburg-Mitte, more than 70 events are held every year by volunteers in history workshops, memorial sites, museums, cinemas and other cultural venues in the Hamburg-Mitte district. Anyone and everyone can take part in a stumbling stone cleaning campaign.
