In the organizer's words:
The market takes place every week on Thursday from 11 am to 6 pm. This is the first weekly market in Cologne with this opening time.
We want to give working people the opportunity to buy fresh produce at a weekly market. The 16 weekly market traders offer an interesting and varied range of goods. These include fresh fruit and vegetables, bread and baked goods, fish, meat, sausage, game and poultry. In addition to various cheese specialties, flowers, dried fruit, vinegar and oil, honey products, gnocchi, filled dumplings, tortelloni and other pasta specialties, even horse meat is available.
