Roberto Ledgard (Antonio Banderas) is an icon of plastic surgery. In his private beauty clinic, however, he pursues a bizarre pastime: His only patient is a young woman who Ledgard holds against her will and wants to keep perfecting, but certain skin components just won't work for him. When the long-lost son of Ledgard's housekeeper gains access one night and is up to no good, a tragic chain of events is set in motion.
