After years of half-hearted sequels and a dwindling fan base, the “Camp Miasma” slasher franchise is entrusted to the ambitious young director Kris for a revival. While researching her project, Kris tracks down Billy, the “final girl” from the first film; Billy has since become an eccentric recluse living on the grounds of the summer camp where the films were shot. An unexpected emotional and sexual bond develops between the two, and the women find themselves drawn into a blood-soaked world full of desire, fear, and delusions.
