A hotel by the sea. A hallway lined with room numbers. A room that’s there one moment—and then disappears again.
What happens when the vacation you planned is no longer enough to carry on as before?
With poetic texts, acting, and live piano, “Room 213” takes you on an evening that blends theater, literature, and music. Airport rituals, hotel routines, breakfast buffets, poolside scenes, and organized leisure activities seem harmless at first. But little by little, they take on a different meaning: what once seemed self-evident begins to crack—and the question of freedom arises anew.
At the center is a woman who returns to a vacation spot that she can’t seem to let go of. A strange observation turns into a source of unease; a missing room becomes a rupture in the familiar order. The character falls out of sync—and realizes that this rhythm may never have been her own.
“Room 213” tells of a subtle shift: of people who function, of routines that promise security, and of a moment when going along with things is no longer a given.
The evening begins close to everyday life, tips into the mysterious—and leaves room for your own thoughts.
