Georgian Songs | Urban Sounds from Tbilisi

Georgian singers Mariam Kiria and Beka Buchukuri invite you to a special concert evening at the Giesinger Bahnhof.
With traditional songs from Georgia, the two artists take the audience on a musical journey full of diverse sounds. Mariam Kiria is known for her impressive interpretations of Georgian music and her polyphonic video collages. Beka Buchukuri studied jazz vocals at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts and is a longtime member of the Georgian choir Adilei, which specializes in traditional folk singing. Accompanied by guitars, they will present Georgian songs and urban sounds from Tbilisi. Georgia’s distinctive polyphonic traditions and rich musical heritage create an extraordinary concert experience.
