H2 – Zentrum für Gegenwartskunst im Glaspalast

The H2 - Center for Contemporary Art in the Glaspalast is Augsburg's municipal museum of contemporary art. Since its foundation in 2006, it has been located in the so-called Glaspalast in Augsburg's textile district, a former cotton mill built by Philipp Jakob Manz and completed in 1910. The "H" stands for Halle. The H2 continuously shows special exhibitions and presentations of its own collection of young, contemporary art, which is currently being built up.
