The Laeiszhalle is Hamburg's traditional venue for exquisite musical experiences with a special focus on early music, recitals, chamber music and jazz.
As the largest and at the time most modern concert hall in Germany, the Laeiszhalle was inaugurated on June 4, 1908. It is thus an important cultural monument to Hamburg's neo-baroque style and the focal point of the city's musical life.
In addition to top international artists, the hall also offers Hamburg musicians a professional setting in an elegant, informal atmosphere. First and foremost the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the resident orchestra of the house.
