Since 2002, the Lutherkirche Nippes has also been home to the Kulturkirche Köln, the second pillar of the Cologne-Nippes church community. Concerts, readings, cabaret evenings and other cultural events take place regularly in the Kulturkirche. International stars perform on the stage of the Kulturkirche as well as German artists and local Cologne stars. The Kulturkirche is also a permanent venue for the international literature festival lit.COLOGNE, which takes place every year in March.
